Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver

The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) represents more than 14,000 real estate professionals across the region. Established in 1919, REBGV is a not-for-profit organization that provides a framework for ethical standards, professional development, and advocacy for the real estate industry.

REBGV's mission is to provide leadership on issues that impact real estate and to enhance the professionalism of its members through a wide range of services, including continuing education, technical support, and access to industry-specific tools. The board is dedicated to advancing the interests of the real estate industry and ensuring that members adhere to the highest standards of ethical practice.

One of the primary functions of REBGV is to maintain and operate the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) system, a comprehensive database of real estate listings that facilitates the buying and selling process. The MLS system allows real estate professionals to share information about properties and provide clients with accurate, up-to-date data.

In addition to managing the MLS system, REBGV engages in advocacy on behalf of its members, representing their interests to all levels of government, regulatory bodies, and the public. The board also supports community initiatives and works to promote sustainable and responsible development in Greater Vancouver.

REBGV is committed to fostering a culture of transparency, integrity, and service excellence, ensuring that both real estate professionals and the public benefit from a well-regulated and dynamic real estate market in Greater Vancouver.
